Manohar Lal Sharma conducts series of meetings, seeks vote

BILLAWAR, Dec 18:  Candidate and Minister of State for Cooperatice, Fisheries, Stationery and ARI, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, addressed the people during door-to-door campaign in Wards of Panchayat Gurah Kalyal, Billawar Town and Dewal, Malti, Garh, Tilla, Koti areas of Billawar Constituency.
He asked the people to choose that Party which has the track record of initiating the developmental activities in Billawar constituency, adding that those who are selling dreams are bent upon dividing the people and are the real enemies of the constituency and the State.
The Minister accompanied by Sarpanchs and Panchs, party workers and supporters. I have a dream of making a modern and progressive Billawar constituency which will set an example for the State and if people show their confidence in me, I will give them the desired results, he asserted.
Presenting his 12 years performance as MLA Billawar constituency, Minister disclosed that with commissioning of a number of water supply schemes in the Billawar constituency, people are getting safe and hygienic drinking water, new ration stores, College, Higher Secondary, and various other schools have been opened up and the whole constituency, today, is connected through a network of roads and lanes. Apart from this, some tube-wells were installed in various localities of the constituency to overcome water crisis, he added.
Manohar Lal said that electrification of number of areas in the constituency  was done by getting a number of electric poles and transformers installed and upgraded, adding that various schools have been upgraded to high and higher secondary level, which are catering to the needs of thousands of students at their doorsteps and all this happened due to the positive approach, sincerity and dedication of the Congress party towards the people.
