RAJOURI, Dec 18: Minister of State for Cooperatives, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma and Minister of State for Power, Shabir Ahmad Khan today inaugurated two JAKFED sale outlets at Nowshera and Rajouri and also participated in one day conference on promotion of dairy sector organized by Jammu and Kashmir Co-operative Union Ltd.
The conference was also attended by Vice Chairman, Kissan Advisory Board, Rachpal Singh, newly elected members for Legislative Council, Shayam Lal Bhagat and Dr. Shahnaz Ganai, former MLAs Thakur Puran Singh and Muhammad Aslam Khan, Managing Director JAKFED Manzoor Ahmad Malik, Sarpanchs, Panchs and a large number of the people of the area.
The Scientists for Government of India Dr. Chakrabharti, Head of the Department of Breeding Sector and NDRI, Dr. Shiv Prasad, HoD Livestock and Dairy and Dr Patel, HoD Milk Collection delivered lectures on the occasion.
At Nowshera the people demanded opening of JAKFED, LPG Agency in the area. The people of Rajouri demanded availability of cement, seed and fertilizers on the JAKFED sale outlets.
