Manohar tours Billawar Constituency, listens public problems

KATHUA, Feb 7: Senior Congress leader, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today conducted a two day tour of Billawar constituency and listened to public grievances.
The public at villages Mela, Uchapind, Barota, Daramni and Kached said there was non-availability of sugar at the ration depots since the last three months and further complained that in all blocks of the area MGNREGA payments are pending since last three years.
People also complained that no progress was made regarding development of roads in the area in last four years.
People of Panchayat Kachade, Ramkote demanded High School and an animal dispensary in their area as 90 per cent population there depends upon livestock.
Sharma gave a patience hearing to the demands and requested the Governor to look into the demand of ration supply and pending payments’ under MGNREGA.
While addressing the people Manohar said that previous BJP government has done nothing and adopted the practice of deviating common masses from burning issues of unemployment, price rise etc by dividing them on communal lines.
