NEW DELHI, Oct 14: Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Additional Secretary, Government of India, today launched two books here in an event held at the North Block Rashtrapati Bhawan, in New Delhi.
One of the books is authored by the late Ajay Vaid, while the other is penned by the young author, Piyush Vaid.
A statement said that SP Pant, Director UPSC; Murali Bhavarju, Director DoPOT; Ashok Kumar, Director Central Secretariat, and Sidharth Sharma, Advocate, Supreme Court of India, graced the occasion of the book launch.
Dwivedi, during the book launch function, commended the effort of the young author, Piyush Vaid, for his profound research into the consequences of various vices that affect the younger generation. These vices encompass a range of issues, including but not limited to vapes, cigarettes, and online gambling.
Dwivedi expressed his appreciation for Piyush Vaid’s dedication to raising awareness about these addictions and their impact on young people.
Dwivedi extended his best wishes to the 16-year-old author, Piyush Vaid, on his creative journey and encouraged him to continue his efforts in promoting awareness and addressing the challenges posed by these vices.
