AKHNOOR, Oct 26: The dead body of a middle-aged man was recovered from forest area of Chowki Chora, in Kalidhar Ranges of district Jammu today.
A police spokesman said that a nomad informed police at Chowki Chora in the morning that dead body of a male was lying in the jungle near Turgala Devsthan. The police party led by SI Kuldeep Khajuria, in-charge Police Post, Chowki Chora reached the spot. The police found that a dog was also roaming around the body and some portion of the face had been eaten by the animals. The deceased was clad in black Jeans pants and blue T-shirt. The police shifted the body to the mortuary of GMC Hospital, Jammu and started investigation. He appeared to be in the age group of 32-35 years.
