KATHUA, Dec 25: A meeting of Brahmin community across the district was held at Brahman Sabha here, today to discuss the issues related to Brahmin community and future course of action of District Brahmin Sabha (DBS).
All the prominent Brahmin community members of Brahman Sabha elected Manuj Kesar as new president for the Sabha.
His name has been proposed by Dr. Dushant Ubbat, president of the Sabha and later he emerged as a consensus candidate for the post.
Manuj Kesar has earlier served the Sabha for several years. Speaking on the occasion, Kesar said that he will work for the welfare of the community and also highlight the issues of youth.
