JAMMU, Apr 29: Many people were booked here today for violation of COVID-19 pandemic guidelines.
Police sources informed that one Rajinder Kumar kept his shop opened beyond the set time at Dhammi area of Nagrota.
Similarly, Ashok Kumar also kept his shop opened beyond the set time in the same area thereby violating COVID guidelines.
In Panjtirthi, Sumit Kohli and Sanjay Kumar committed similar offence and kept their Fast Food shops opened much beyond the time set by district administration.
Narwal police has booked three shopkeepers under pandemic act for keeping their shops opened beyond the set time.
Meanwhile, a man was booked by Bus Stand police for not wearing mask while roaming at public place.
