JAMMU, Sept 20: The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) president, Mehbooba Mufti today visited her Party headquarters here.
She was warmly welcomed with garlands by senior party leaders and youth leaders at the office and she appreciated all the leaders present there for their hard work in organising successful youth convention in Jammu.
Party matters including membership drive, organisational structure, focus on youth bodies and effectively strengthening of grass root level structure of the Party were discussed.
Delegations including that of Kashmiri Migrant Cell led by Suheed, one from Chenab valley led Avais Chaudhary, another pertaining to mining sector led by Partap Singh, one more of Tractor Association led by Arif Hussain also met Mehbooba Mufti.
The PDP president gave approval to constitute Tribal Cell and Pahari Cell of the parent body to ensure proper representation to the communities.
She also congratulated newly nominated district youth presidents of Poonch and Ramban-Shiraz Ahmed Gorsi and Mudasir Hussain Bhat respectively and wished them all the best for their new assignments.
