UDHAMPUR, Feb 2: District National Conference (NC) unit organized a meeting here today under the chairmanship of NC district head, Sunil Verma where many party workers and leaders from far flung areas of the district were present.
In the meeting, leaders of BJP, Congress and Panthers Party joined NC and were welcomed into the party fold by Sunil Verma.
Meanwhile, S. Harvinder Singh was made head of NC Sikh Union with the consensus of NC district unit.
Addressing party workers, Harvinder Singh said that he will work with full honesty and will try to resolve problems of Sikh community.
Speaking on the occasion district NC head, Sunil Verma said that NC is the only group associated with common people.
He said, with the joining of Harvinder Singh, NC will get more strength in the district and asked the party workers to strengthen hands of NC president, Dr. Farooq Abdullah and vice president, Omar Abdullah.
