Many political organizations celebrate Independence Day, hoist National Flag

JAMMU, Aug 16: Many political organizations here celebrated the 77th Independence Day and hoisted the National Flag.
At BJP headquarter in Trikuta Nagar, BJP J&K president, Ravinder Raina along with former Dy. CM, Kavinder Gupta and other senior leaders of the party hoisted National Flag.
Senior BJP leader and Chairperson J&K Waqf Board, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi unfurled the National Flag at a mega event organized by J&K Waqf Board in the premises of Sultan-ul-Arifeen Waqf Institute at Makhdoom Sahib in Srinagar. The event was attended by Members of the Board Dr. Ghulam Nabi Haleem and Syed Mohammed Hussain in addition to Waqf Board CEO, Dr Syed Majid Jahangir and Magistrate Ishtiyaq Mohiuddin in addition to other dignitaries. A pledge to free J&K from the menace of drug abuse was also taken.
At BJP office in Kachi Chawni, former Minister Sat Sharma and former MP Shamsher Singh Manhas accompanied by District BJP president, Parmod Kapahi and others hoisted the National Flag.
At City Chowk in Jammu, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, J&K BJP vice president, Yudhvir Sethi and others hoisted the National Flag.
Senior BJP leader and Mayor of Jammu, Rajinder Sharma, who is also general secretary of All India Mayors Council, hoisted the National Flag at JMC premises to celebrate the 77th Independence Day. He also hoisted the National Flag at Raghunath Bazar, Govt Middle School, New Plot and at many other places.
On Independence Day, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Deputy Mayor Jammu, unfurled the Tricolor at various places of Jammu city including at Bikram Chowk, Government Middle School Langer, Govt. Primary School Gangyal, Bhatindi, Trikuta Nagar, Kunjwani, Jeevan Nagar etc.
BJP Jammu district Rural president, Omi Khajuria hoisted the National Flag at Dream City along with hundreds of Party men and local people.
BJP District Jammu South celebrated 77th Independence Day and the National Flag was hoisted under the leadership of BJP president Jammu South, Rekha Mahajan and in the presence of BJP cadres and general public at different locations. Speaking on the occasion Rekha said lauded the contributions of youth in shaping future of the country.
Chief Spokesperson of BJP Mahila Morcha J&K, Ritika Trehan hoisted National Flag in Gandhi Nagar to mark 77th Independence Day. Ritika along with other Mahila Morcha activists distributed National Flag in every area making ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a grand success.
To celebrate the Independence Day, former MLC and senior BJP leader, Vikram Randhawa unfurled the National Flag at various locations. Addressing the people, Randhawa highlighted steps taken by J&K government and talked about holding of G20 working group meeting in Srinagar, dismantling of terror ecosystem, providing land to the landless and developing infrastructure in the Union territory.
On Independence Day, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president, Vikar Rasool Wani along with working president Raman Bhalla and others unfurled the Tricolour in Jammu and this was followed by National Anthem recitation.
Vikar Rasool hailed the contributions of Congress in the freedom struggle of India.
District Congress Committee Reasi under the chairmanship of Rajesh Sadotra, DCC president celebrated 77th Independence Day by hosting the National Flag.
JKPCC celebrated 77th Independence Day at Srinagar Party Office. Congress leaders and workers led by former MLC and senior Congress leader, Ghulam Nabi Monga unfurled the Tricolor after salute by a BSF contingent.
Former Minister J&K and senior Congress leader, Yogesh Sawhney celebrated 77th Independence Day by hoisting the National Flag at various places. He also paid tributes to the freedom fighters, martyrs and soldiers of India stating that it was their work and sacrifice which brought freedom to our nation.
The 77th Independence Day was celebrated by Congress at Sunderbani and Nowshera. At Sunderbani, the National Flag was hoisted by Congress president Sunderbani, Nain Chand Sharma while at Nowshera, the National Flag was hoisted by general secretary DCC, Vijay Bakshi along with others.
After unfurling the National Flag to celebrate the Independence Day, senior Congress leader, M.K Bhardwaj said the constitutional guarantees and provisions are being tampered with at times even without following the due course of constitutional and legal provisions.
On 77th Independence Day, Taranjit Singh Tony, Congress leader and member of District Development Council Suchetgarh hoisted Tricolor at several locations. At Main Chowk Digiana, Tony along with Sita Devi and Balbir Singh unfurled the National Flag.
NC celebrated 77th Independence Day with great enthusiasm at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan Jammu. Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial president hoisted the National Flag in presence of party functionaries.
Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) chairman, Ghulam Nabi Azad greeted the people on 77th Independence Day and hoisted the National Flag at his residence in New Delhi while DPAP general secretary R.S Chib hoisted the National Flag at Provincial Headquarter Jammu & Provincial President Kashmir Mohd Amin Bhatt hoisted the National Flag in Srinagar.
Ch. Gharu Ram, former Minister and Zonal president of DPAP organized a function to celebrate 77th Independence Day at R.S Pura in which Ashok Sharma, former MLA and DPAP Provincial vice president was chief guest.
On Independence Day, Pawan Kumar, DPAP Block president Janipur hoisted the National Flag at DPAP office.
To mark the celebrations of 77th Independence Day, senior DPAP leader, Chowdhary Sobat Ali, also JMC Councillor, hoisted the National Flag at Sunjwan Higher Secondary School, High School Bhatindi, Sunjwan Chowk, Haji Colony and at many other places.
Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ramvilas) under the leadership of its J&K president, Rafiq Malik celebrated 77th Independence Day with patriotic fervor at Party Headquarter in Jammu. Malik hoisted the National Flag in the presence of functionaries of LJP (R).
BSP celebrated 77th Independence Day at R.S Pura where BSP State general secretary, Darshan Rana hoisted the National Flag.
Shiv Sena (UBT) celebrated the Independence Day and State president Shiv Sena J&K, Manish Sahni, hoisted the Tricolor and emphasized that the Day is to remember and salute the freedom fighters.
Youth Wing of Shiv Sena Hindustan under the leadership of its J&K president, Ganesh Choudhary celebrated 77th Independence Day with enthusiasm. Ganesh Choudhary hoisted the Tricolour.
Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) under the leadership of its J&K president Rajesh Kesri celebrated 77th Independence Day with patriotic fervour. Kesri hoisted the National Flag and greeted the people of J&K.
The large number workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena J&K under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta celebrated Independence Day and took out a rally in the city holding Tricolour in hands.
All State J&K Pandit Conference celebrated Independence Day in Durga Nagar. Conference president R.K Wangno hoisted the National Flag.
