JAMMU, Aug 31: State president BJP SC Morcha and MLA Samba, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal today inaugurated  newly installed transformer of 100 KVA at Noorabad Colony, Jammu. He was accompanied by PDD officials, dozens of local residents and political activists of the area.
MLA said that these areas have been facing power crisis from the past several years and they also face long hours of power cuts so for fulfilling demands of the locals of the area such step have been taken in order to eradicate the crisis of power from these areas.
He said the funds amounting to Rs 3.71 lac for the installation of the transformer were sanctioned by the MLA from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF). MLA assured the residents of the area that their legitimate demands would be fulfilled in a phased manner as Government at Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved total development and prosperity of the State.
Later Manyal visited at village  Katli, Samba where he inaugurated a transformer which was upgraded from 123 kv to 250 kv on an estimated cost is Rs. 1.71 lac.
Others who were present during the occasion including Kulveer Singh Sambyal, Purmandal Mandal President, Sanjeev Sharma, Ghari Singh, Raghuvir Singh, Pappu, Sanju Samba Mandal President, Sanjev Padha and locals.
