SAMBA, Dec 14: MLA Samba, Dr. DK Manyal kick started development works worth Rs 1.71 crore in his Samba Constituency today.
Among the works, Dr Manyal inaugurated a black topping of the road under NABARD From village Penthi to Nihari. The length of the road is 2km.This was a long pending demand of the villagers.
He said that the residents and school going children will get relief during the rainy season with black topping of the road.
Dr Manyal also started a work of four lanes and drains in ward number 13,12,5 and 3 .The condition of these lanes was pathetic and garbage dumps were lying in these wards. The residents of these wards complimented the MLA for starting these works. Another work was started in the Village Barian worth Rs 5 lakh. Besides, work of lanes and drains was started at Laama Mandi in SC Basti at the cost of 6.50 lacs.
MLA said soon works worth Rs 50 lac will be started in Samba town and new drains will be taken up. He said 15 lac have been sanctioned and released for the construction of community hall at Pacci Mandi Samba.
The dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding development of each corner of the country will be fulfilled with the slogan of “Sab Ka Saath Sabka Vikas” said “Dr Manyal.
Among other those present included,Vinod Singh Vinny, Kali Dass, Sanju, Kattu, Sanju, Anju Devi and Sarishta Devi, Jangvir Singh Chikku, Narsingh Dayal, Sanjay Padha and others.
