JAMMU, Sept 10: State president BJP SC Morcha and MLA Samba, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal today kick started improvement/upgradation of road from village Madana to Sumbli in Samba constituency which will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs.1.78 crore under NABARD.
Speaking on the occasion Manyal said this was a long pending demand of the inhabitants of the area and it has been solved.
He said that implementation of various developmental activities undertaken by the Government has been fast-paced and are being regularly monitored. He said it is endeavour of the Government to ensure time bound completion of works so that people get benefitted. The MLA said that due to sustained efforts of the State’s BJP-PDP Government much headway has been achieved in ensuring time bound completion of developmental works. He appealed the people to come forward to monitor the development works at their own so that quality of the work can be maintained. He also directed the executing agency to complete the work in stipulated time & cautioned them not to compromise in quality of the work.
Calling upon people of the area to derive maximum benefit from Government sponsored schemes launched by State as well as Centre from time to time, Manyal said GoI is providing funds with open mind for the development of all the three regions of the State.
Later Manyal kick started  construction of link road of village Manghe Nal which is small village  connected through village Madana to Pring Nal  of Pyt. Khara Madana. The total estimated cost of road is Rs.15 lakh.
Speaking on this occasion MLA said that  now he planned to connect  the village Manghe Nal to Madana Sandhi road which is shortest link to  this village and will be constructed on an estimated cost  of  Rs 1 crore.
Officers of the concerned departments including AEE Rajesh Sumbria, AE Parkash, SHO Sanjeev Kumar, JE RDD,  Hem Raj , Baba Ji, Ganga Ram, Deepak Kumar, & a large number of people of the area were also present on the occasion.
