SAMBA, Dec 2: Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh, and Ramesh Chander, DDC Samba, kick-started two significant development projects aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and health services in the region.
The first project, a Health and Wellness Center, was inaugurated at village Nathwal. This initiative is set to improve the overall healthcare facilities for the residents of Nathwal and surrounding areas, providing them with better access to medical services and promoting overall well-being.
The second project, a Tile Laying Work, was launched near the Sehdev Data Devsthan in Village Katli. The work, funded under the CD and Panchayat Scheme, will enhance the appearance and accessibility of the area. The estimated cost of the tile laying work is INR 4.50 lakhs.
Additionally, a culvert/path construction project from the residence of Balbir Singh to onwards in Ward No. 5 was also inaugurated. This work, undertaken under the PRI (Capex) scheme, is aimed at improving transportation facilities in the locality. The estimated cost of this project is INR 3.0 lacs.
The local residents and community members expressed their gratitude towards the leaders for their continuous efforts in improving the living standards in the region. The initiatives are expected to bring significant improvements in both healthcare and infrastructure, benefiting the public at large.
MLA Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal and DDC Ramesh Chander reaffirmed their commitment to the region’s development and promised to continue working for the betterment of the community.
