JAMMU, May 17: In a programme held at Party Headquarter Trikuta Nagar, near here, today Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Samba, Dr. Davinder Manyal took charge as State President of BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha in presence of BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma, State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, State general secretary, Dr. Narinder Singh, senior leaders, Bansi Lal Bharti and N.D. Rajwal.
Sat Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that the BJP has set up Anusuchit Jaati Morcha with an objective to provide a platform within the party which has direct liaison with the people belonging to Scheduled Caste community and work for the redressal of their grievances. He said that the community has posed faith in BJP by returning seven MLAs to the State Assembly and the party is well aware of their contribution.
Ashok Koul said that only such political party is successful which takes along all the sections of the society. BJP has constituted Morcha and Cells within the party in order to get more closer to people belonging to different communities and associated with different professions in life. He said that BJP is a party which is “Sarv Sparshi” in real sense. He expressed hope that the Morcha will further mobilize the members of SC community to strengthen BJP.
Dr. Davinder Manyal, while expressing gratitude to the party for showering new responsibility, assured to work whole heartedly for the down trodden and marginalized people.
N.D. Rajwal said that BJP is the only party that takes keen interest in the development and progress of weaker sections under the banner “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas”.
