JAMMU, June 20: Former Minister and senior BJP leader, Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar today said that the Modi led BJP Government at Centre and LG Manoj Sinha led administration in J&K deserves all credit for maximising the reach and utilization of Government schemes in rural areas of J&K so that no one is left out, and promised that there would be no shortage of funds to develop villages especially border villages.
“In the Budget 2022 even, the BJP has focused on rural areas, said Sukhnandan while addressing the gathering at Sum village in Top Manhasan (Tawi Island) in Phallian Mandal area of Marh constituency.
Sukhnandan recalled the Phallian Mandal Tawi single bridge, constructed by the then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, which was later damaged in 2015 floods. It was again reconstructed with double lanes for the benefit of local residents.
Disclosing many other projects for this border area, Sukhnandan said that he is working day and night to achieve 100% coverage of the schemes for Marh constituency.
Former Minister, further said that the Modi Government is working on time-bound completion of development programmes.
“I have suggested the LG administration in J&K also to adopt new technology for faster completion of projects with no compromise with quality,” Sukhnandan said.
“We have detailed efforts ensure that everyone has access to basic facilities — water, electricity, gas connections, toilets, roads” — which Choudhary Sukhnandan said BJP Government has worked on over the past eight years to develop the border people.
“Marh constituency is receiving nonstop funds for development of roads, Ch Sukhnandan said .
Others who attended function at Sum village Top Manhasan (Tawi Island) include DDC Member Geetu Aoulakh, Balbir Lal, Jatinder Singh Chairman MC Ghomanasha, Sarpanch Balbir Singh Sohajana, Balbir Kumar Haripur, Ch Lal Singh Lohri Chakm, ex-Sarpanch Sham Lal Sharma, Kuldeep Singh, Ajay Kumar and other prominent citizens of Phallian Mandal area.
