RAMBAN, Mar 25: Two persons including a married woman allegedly tried to end their lives by consuming poisonous substance in Chanderkote and Banihal areas of the district.
As per police sources, Nisha Devi (21), wife of Dharam Chand, a resident of Raj Garh allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
She was rushed to District Hospital, from where she was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, Tahira Bano (23), daughter of Mushtaq Sohil of Chamal was made an abortive attempt to end her life by consuming poisonous substance at her home.
The girl was shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Banihal, where she was responding to the treatment, when reports last came in.
Chanderkote and Banihal police has taken cognizance in this regards.
