JAMMU, Feb 6: A married woman was raped by a man in the area falling under the jurisdiction of Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station.
As per police sources, a woman hailing from District Doda lodged a complaint with Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu stating that a man identified as Riyaz Ahmed of Batote, District Ramban raped her.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 16/2020 under Section 376 IPC has been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the rapist.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
