Mason dies of fall at BGSBU

RAJOURI, Aug 3: A mason died of fall from a building during construction at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University here today.
A police spokesman said that mason Raj Kumar, son of Neel Kanth, resident of Chhatisgarh was seriously injured after he fell down from a large height during construction of a building on the University campus. He was rushed to Rajouri District Hospital where doctors declared him as dead. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile, a labourer received serious burns when he got trapped in the live electric wires in Jawahar Nagar area of Rajouri town today. The mishap took place when the labourer Raj Gopal from Bihar had been engaged in construction work. He had been mounted on the roof top. As the live cables were closer, he got trapped in them and received over 60 % burn injuries. He has been referred to GMC Jammu from Rajouri Hospital.
