NEW DELHI, July 6: Masoor and its dal prices rose up to Rs 50 per quintal in lacklustre trade on the wholesale pulses market here today on scattered buying from retailers.
However, other pulses held steady for want of support.
Traders said scattered buying by retailers mainly helped masoor and its dal prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, masoor, small and bold, rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,300-4,500 and Rs 4,450-4,650, and its dal, local and best quality, were up by Rs 50 and Rs 30 to Rs 5,000-5,100 and Rs 5,050-5,150 per quintal, respectively.
The following were today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,350-3,800, Urad Chilka (local) 4,500-4,850, best 4,900-5,400, Dhoya 5,400-5,600, Moong 5,150-5,550, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,650-6,050, Moong Dhoya local 5,800-5,900 and best quality 6,450-6,550.
Masoor small 4,300-4,500, bold 4,450-4,650, Dal Masoor local 5,000-5,100, best quality 5,050-5,150, Malka local 4,900-5,000, best 5,100-5,200, Moth 3,100-3,700, Arhar 4,100-4,500, Dal Arhar Dara 5,800-6,000.
Gram 3,150-3,850, Gram Dal (local) 3,650-3,750, best quality 3,750-3,850, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,560, Rajdhani 1,560, Rajmah Chitra 8,700-10,000, Kabli Gram small 3,750-5,750, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 3,500-4,900, Peas white 2,925-2,950 and green 3,025-3,175. (PTI)
