DEHRA (Kangra), July 28: Famous Seven Rock cut Masroor temple area will be developed in the coming times to provide employment opportunities to a large number of local people.
Kamlesh Thakur, wife of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said the government will develop the Masroor temple and its adjoining area in a planned manner.
Kamlesh Thakur said this while addressing the people after visiting the temple for the first time after becoming MLA.
She said the Masroor temple is not only our famous heritage but is also very important from the tourism point of view. She said that given this, the government will develop Masroor temple and the adjoining area in a planned manner.
She said providing employment opportunities to youth is one of the priorities of the state government.
She said in Dehra assembly constituency, there are many such important places including the area adjoining Pong Dam , and Masroor temple, which if developed in a planned manner, can provide immense opportunities for tourism and employment.
Kamlesh Thakur said that keeping all these aspects in mind, she will work towards developing of Dehra assembly from the tourism point of view and providing employment to the youth at the local level.
Listening to the problems of the people, Kamlesh Thakur resolved most of them on the spot and directed the officials to resolve the remaining problems in a time bound manner.
She said that improving basic facilities like roads and water in the Dehra assembly constituency is one of her priorities. She instructed the officials to take special care that people in Dehra assembly constituency are not deprived of basic facilities like roads and water.
State Industrial Development Corporation Vice President Vishal Chambiyal, Executive Engineer Public Works Department Suresh Walia, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti Department Anish Thakur, RM Dehra Kushal Kumar, Pradhan Gram Panchayat Masrur Pravesh, former Block President Hariom Sharma and a large number of local people and officers were present.
