Mass copying in ETT exam: BOSE seeks action against duty staff

JAMMU, Nov 6: Following detection of mass copying in D El Ed (erstwhile ETT)   examination at two centres at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Rehari Colony Jammu and GHSS (Boys), Sarwal, the State Board of School Education has appealed   the Director School Education Jammu to initiate action against the staff engaged in the exam duty in these centres.
A number of candidates were found in possession of copying material during surprise inspection by Joint Secretary BOSE, Dr Farooq Ahmad Peer, to these two exam centres yesterday.
The inspecting team framed a number of unfairmeans cases and seized copying material, besides two mobile phones.  The supervisory staff was allegedly facilitating copying during the exam. At HSS Rehari, one Jyoti Parkash, Lecturer in Sanskrit and claiming himself as Vice-Principal of the school, unauthorisedly entered in the examination centre and allegedly misbehaved with the inspection team of BOSE.
Apprising the Director School Education Jammu about the whole episode, the BOSE Joint Secretary has sought action against the staff engaged in these examination centres.
