Sir,
Mass copying and use of unfair methods in the written test conducted on 25th of Dec. 2015 by J&K Service Selection Board is a matter of of concern for all of us. Such a sight of mass copying. We have never seen perhaps . The candidates were outside their alloted rooms with OMR sheets and question booklets and using their mobile phones for solving questions. Where were inviglators and other duty staff? It’s really a negligence of JKSSB and same should be avoided in future in the interest of diligent, deserving and industrious candidates. If exam stand cancelled andthere is re-exam, think how many papers in the form of question booklets and OMR sheets will be used. So such incidents are not only harmful to examinees but also to our environment. There are some suggestions to avoid such incidents of mass coping in future. If possible, Internet and SMS services should be halted during the course of examination; atleast three invigilators should be deployed by giving them individual responsibility about mass copying and Flying Squads should also be deployed to check mass copying in about each exam center. Mass copying is a great menace to our educational system and it should be stopped as earlier as possible.

Sir,
This has reference to the recently held SSB exams. The examination has brought out certain facts which need to be considered by the SSB authorities to enable them to take corrective measures for future exams.
The Department should ensure trained computer staff who can be manage the data in a smooth manner. A cursory look at the working of its Paloura office will reveal the glaring deficiency in its working.
Besides, if there was only one common test for all posts, then why we were made to pay separately for separate posts and notifications. This way a large number of candidates were robbed off their money. Besides, the process has been time consuming.
Hope, the SSB authorities would frame new guidelines for conducting exams. It is expected transparency and fairness will be the hallmark of SSB.
