POONCH, May 15: Anjuman Jafaria Poonch and Gujarati Brothers organized a mass wedding ceremony at Imambargah Alia Poonch.
Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet attended the marriage ceremony of 13 couples.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr.Basharat Hussain, General Manager DIC Dr. Zakir Hussain, Naib Tehsildar Maroof Khan and other officers/officials.
During his visit, the Committee members of Sayeed Musa Shah Gazi welcomed the Deputy Commissioner by presenting a Floral Bouquet and Shawal.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the Anjuman Jafria & Gujrati Brothers for this good step for poor peoples and also congratulated the married couples.
On this occasion, Anjum and Gujrati brothers gifted goods and Gold ornaments to the married couples.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner along with the team of officers visited Sayed Musa Shah Gazi at Banwat where they participated in the Urs.
A large number of devotees from across district Poonch and adjoining areas attended the congregation.
While speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner greeted the devotees and prayed for prosperity and good health of the nation.
