Massive development being done in J&K: Sat

JAMMU, Apr 5: Former State president BJP and Ex Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) along with Corporator Ward 8, Dr Akshay Sharma kick started renovation works of lanes at Dogra Hall area of Jammu West Assembly segment. They were accompanied by a large number of people including Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, district secretary, Raman Sharma, local residents and political activists of the area.
The works will be executed under the supervision of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) at an estimated cost of Rupees 18 lakh and the funds were allotted to the Corporator.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the lanes in Dogra Hall area were in a dilapidated condition and with the efforts of the local Corporator, the works have been taken which will reduce the problems of area to zero as due to broken lanes, there was also the problem of bad sanitation. Stating about the development done in other wards of Jammu West, Sharma said that all 26 wards in the Constituency are mostly developed and all pending works will also be taken up in stipulated time frame in order to avoid public distress. He stated that today is the time when massive development is being done in every sphere of Jammu and Kashmir and it is all due to the efforts of PM, Narendra Modi who always thinks about the welfare of commoners.
Dr Akshay Sharma said that crores of Rupees were spent in the Ward with the efforts of former MLA, Sat Sharma and remaining works are also being executed in the Ward on his recommendation. He stated that former MLA is working on the ground and is in regular communication with the masses. He also stated about upcoming developmental works to be taken up in the Ward. He asked people to keep a check on the quality of works being done in their areas.
Keshav claimed that none other constituency in Jammu and Kashmir witnessed this much development and he credited former MLA for taking up important works which changed the developmental scenario in constituency.
