Massive development to bring sea change in economy: Raman

JAMMU, Aug 25: Accusing Congress and its allies of having wasted 70 years in Jammu and Kashmir by encouraging nepotism, corruption, poor governance and separatism, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri, today said that development in Jammu and Kashmir has started becoming visible to the extent that it’s larger impact on economic development will be seen in days to come.
Inauguration of the first phase of Ring Road, Cable Car Project, National Recruitment Agency and now reduction in deadline for issuing domicile certificates are some of the visible changes that are happening on the ground. Congress leaders have no words on these developments because they know that these are not promises but ground situations wherein benefits have started reaching the people directly.
Raman Suri said, making a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) in Jammu and Kashmir was a herculean task, and now issuance of Domicile Certificates has been reduced to just five days. If this is not visible to Congress, which has gone dumb, then it needs to introspect what its army of ministers did in past seventy years. He added that first phase of Ring Road connecting Kot Bhalwal with Canal Road at Domana is in operation and this four lane is going to give Jammu a great breathing space, taking all its traffic congestion off the city roads. All concrete road is going to last for ages and unlike past, it won’t even ask for repeated repairs, he added.
