Two security personnel injured

SRINAGAR, Apr 24: Two security men were injured in an exchange of fire with militants at Renji woods of Bandipora district while a massive operation has been launched to trace out the militants. Click here to watch video
A Defence spokesman said the contact with militants was established during a joint operation of the Army and police in general area Mulkhyama Forest, Bandipora. The operation was started on April 21.

A firefight started in the early hours today after the hiding militants opened fire at them. “The operation is in progress,” the Army said.
A massive search operation has been launched and helicopters have been pressed into service while more security forces have been rushed to the spot to track down hiding militants.
