KATHUA, June 2: One masson was electrocuted while he went to drink water from a pump in Nagri parole here today.
He was identified as Puran Chand, Mistry, son of Harnam Dass of Kalyanpur, Kathua.
As per reports, Puran Chand was working in the house of Darshan Kumar at Nagri Parole here and during the lunch break he went near the water pump to drink the water and got electrocuted due to short circuit. He was rushed to local hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead.
The Kathua Police has registered a case under Section 174 RPC.
