Masterji Trust, CRPF organize art workshop

JAMMU, Dec 23:  Master Sansar Chand Baru Memorial Charitable Trust today organised an art workshop for the disabled children of  Sahara Special, School, Trikuta Nagar here today.
The art camp was held in collaboration with CRPF Ban Talab Jammu. In the event  school children from different backgrounds came together on one platform for the participation. The motive of   holding this event was to promote art among the  disabled children and motivate them to express themselves through the medium of art and culture.
Minister of  State for Education,  Priya  Sethi who was chief guest on the occasion   inaugurated the Art workshop. She appreciated the efforts of the Trust and CRPF to include disabled children in the art workshop and develop such skills among them.
Senior artists from Delhi, Abhijit Kumar  Pathak and  Ganesh Das and another one  from Jammu – Richa Gupta gave live demonstration of painting  and interacted with  the children. Some students from Institute of  Music and Fine Art  Jammu also assisted the workshop.
Anuradha Rishi, chairperson of the Trust extended gratitude to the chief guest and other special invitees for the encouragement. She also thanked former  Member PSC K B Jandial, DIG CRPF Pareevn Sharma and  Poonam Choudhary, Principal of  Institute of Music and Fine Art, Jammu.
DIG CRPF,  Parveen Sharma and the Principal of  the Sahara Special School, Father Philips extended good wishes to the children for the Christmas and New Year 2016.
