RAJOURI, Jan 10: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University has established Masud Choudhary Gate in honor of its founding Vice-Chancellor, who passed away recently.
Prof Akbar Masood, the incumbent Vice-Chancellor of BGSBU, inaugurated the Masud Choudhary Gate this morning.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Akbar Masood paid glowing tribute to Dr Masud Choudhary for establishing the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University. He mentioned that Dr Masud Choudhary was an able administrator, astute academician and a great thinker, whose contribution to the establishment, growth and development of BGSB University shall always be remembered.
On the occasion, the University also presented the ‘ Founder Vice Chancellor Chair’, which was occupied by Late Dr Masud Choudhary during his tenure as the VC of BGSBU, to be placed on the podium of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust.
The event was attended by Dean Academic Affairs, Prof Iqbal Parwez, Associate Dean of Students, Dr A A and other senior functionaries of the University.
