JAMMU, June 11: The newly constructed temple and Pranpratistha of Kheer Bhawani Maa or Ragnya Bhawani Devi was conducted by Dr. Satpathyji a spiritual Guru at Haryana in the premises of Sai Ka Aangan, Gurgaon.
Dr. Satpathyji made offerings to the sacred fire of the hawan, amid chanting of 108 the names of MaaKheer Bhawani. Thereafter, customary Abhishek, Panchsnaan, Alankaran, Shringaar and Ashtottar Shat Naam Archana were offered. As desired by Dr. Satpathy Ji, the Aarti was collectively done by the assembled devotees. In Kashmir, MaaKheer Bhawani temple is situated over a spring in the village of Tulmul in Ganderbal.
After the Pran Pratishtha, Dr. Satpathyji addressed the devotees and informed that according to the available information when Swami Vivekananda had visited Kashmir in 1890, he had worshipped MaaKheer Bhawani for six days, who appeared before him as a little girl. The assemblage of devotees from Odisha, Punjab, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi was like the Sangam, drawing not just Kashmiris, but devotees from various states.
Dr. Satpathyji stated that God might have different forms, but the source of all deities is from the same cosmic energy. After the Pranpratistha event, Kashmiri food and Kheer was served as Prasad to the participants.
