Matilda’ cast reunites after 17 years

LONDON, July 4:  The cast of “Matilda” reunited to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the hit 1996 family film.
Danny DeVito and wife Rhea Perlman, who played ghastly parents Harry and Zinnia Wormwood, oversaw the get-together, reported Daily Star.
Mara Wilson, the child star who played young genius Matilda in the big screen adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic kids’ book, mingled with other co-stars, including Pam Ferris, who played ferocious headmistress Ms Trunchbull.
Wilson stepped out of the spotlight in 2000 to concentrate
on her studies, and vowed to never appear in another film during an interview last year.
“Matilda” has since been turned into a successful stage musical, winning a raft of awards in both the UK and US. (PTI)
