Matt Gerald cast in ‘Shot Caller’

LOS ANGELES, June 30:  Actor Matt Gerald has joined Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in prison drama “Shot Caller”.
Gerald, 45, who recently played tailor Melvin Potter in Netflix’s TV series “Daredevil”, will be seen as a parole officer looking to bring down some gang members.
Ric Roman Waugh is directing the feature, which is being produced by Bold Films, who financed “Whiplash”, and Participant Media.
Coster-Waldau, 44, is starring as an average family man sent to prison who learns how to navigate prison gang politics and rises to the top even as his family is anxious for his return.
Jon Bernthal and Lake Ball also are part of the cast of this prison thriller.
Gerald, who has appeared in shows such as “Castle” and “Intelligence”, was last seen on the big screen with “San Andreas”. He will also appear in “Solace”, a thriller starring Colin Farrell. (PTI)
