Srinagar, June 8: Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket, today announced the launch of its exclusive OPD services for cardiology at the Max Med Centre here.
The OPD services were launched in the presence of Dr. Balbir Singh, Group Chairman – Cardiac Sciences, Pan Max, and Chief of Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology, Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket.
The launch is yet another patient-centric step taken by the hospital to provide patients with accessible and quality healthcare services without the inconvenience of traveling to another city.
Dr. Singh, the hospital said, will be available for primary consultations at Max Med Centre on the second Saturday of every month from 10 AM to 1 PM.

During the launch, Dr. Balbir Singh remarked: “Patients often overlook early signs of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), such as chest pain, pressure, jaw or shoulder pain, shortness of breath, cold sweats, nausea, fatigue, light-headedness, or fainting. Symptoms vary, and patients present at different stages. Many who experience multiple heart attacks or have dilated cardiomyopathy eventually develop advanced heart failure.”
He added that technological advancements have significantly shaped interventional cardiology.
“Innovations in cardiac surgery, such as minimally invasive techniques, transcatheter procedures, 3D printing, and regenerative medicine, have improved patient outcomes, reduced invasiveness, and expanded treatment options.”
