Anti corruption campaign

JAMMU, Sept 27: Taking ahead the anti-corruption campaign under the name ‘Jan Jagaran Abhiyan’ with slogan ‘Imandar Jammu, Shandar Jammu’, Mayor Jammu, Rajinder Sharma today administered oath to the students and staff members of SRML Higher Secondary School.
Under the supervision of Principal, Anjali Gupta, the students and the staff of the school pledged to make honest and dedicated efforts to eradicate political and other forms of corruption from the country.
They also pledged not to favour caste candidates in any of the elections in the country to elect public representative and expressed determination to vote for an educated candidate having proper knowhow about administration and running of the Government.
The Mayor said that PM Modi while addressing the country from the ramparts of Red Fort had announced to weed out corruption from the country and the present campaign is a small effort to support the PM.
He lauded the students and the staff for supporting the anti-corruption campaign to end corruptions from the country.
The students expressed enthusiasm and said that they will also discuss the anti-corruption steps with their friends, neighbours, at family etc so that success to the noble and pro-nationalist campaign is ensured.
They also expressed dismay that corruption leads to discrimination as less qualified persons gets good postings and the deserving one is neglected.
The Mayor said that the country will never become corruption free till all those living here have determined resolve to do that.
Principal of the School, Anjali Gupta said that the campaign was very much positive and the students had an exposure to a new thing which will help them in their future and will definitely build good qualities of honesty and unrighteousness.
