JAMMU, Oct 23: In a meeting of all the Councillors of BJP, the newly elected Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Rajinder Sharma stressed on constituting committees to solve public issues.
He said that these committees will help in making future leadership.
The Mayor informed that it was resolved in the meeting that employees of line departments should tour the Wards along with Councillors twice a week to resolve public issues on the spot.
“It was also resolved that all JMC services will be provided to the public from their respective Ward offices itself so that the people do not get harassed by spending money and wasting time and efforts.
Though the meeting was attended by most of the BJP Councillors, the former Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta and former Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma along with few others were not present in the meeting.
