JAMMU, Oct 18: A deluxe Sulabh Toilet Complex having two baths, three urinals, a caretaker’s room and facilities for Divyangs has been inaugurated by Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at Narwal.
The project cost for the toilet complex was Rs. 10.50 lakh and it was constructed and will be maintained by Sulabh International Social Service Organisation (SISSO) on pay and use basis for 10 years.
On this occasion Anil Kumar Singh, Controller SISSO J&K spoke on the activities being done by Sulabh International all over India.
The Mayor appreciated the works done by Sulabh International throughout India regarding sanitation services and said that some more deluxe Sulabh Toilet complexes will be constructed in Jammu in future.
Ch Vikram Randhawa, MLC; Baldev Singh Baloria, Chairman Sanitation Works Committee of JMC; Kamal Singh Jamwal, Councillor Ward No. 49; Executive Engineer JMC, AEE JMC, JE JMC, Senior BJP leaders and others were also present on the occasion.
