JAMMU, July 10: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta here today inaugurated a deluxe Sulabh toilet complex at General Zorwar Singh Chowk, JDA Park under Swachh Bharat Mission.
The project incurred an amounting of Rs. 10.50 lakh.
Baldev Singh Baloria, Chairman JMC Sanitation Works Committee and Neeraj Puri, Councillor Ward Number-54 were also present on the occasion.
A handout stated that the toilet complex has been constructed and will be maintained by Sulabh International Social Service Organisation (SISSO) on pay and use basis for 10 years.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Kumar Singh, Controller SISSO J&K talked about activities being carried out by Sulabh International across India.
JMC Mayor was the chief guest on the occasion and he said that more deluxe Sulabh toilets will be constructed in Jammu in future under ODF scheme for Jammu.
Executive Engineer JMC, AEE JMC, JE JMC, Senior BJP leaders, Sulabh volunteers and others were also present.
