Mayor lays foundation stone of Sulabh Shochalya

JAMMU, June 27: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta along with his team here today visited various localities of Ward No. 47 & 48 including Bahu Fort, Gorkha Nagar, Kalika Colony etc.
The visiting JMC team met with locals of these Wards and listened their demands like improvement in sanitation conditions, de-silting of deep drains flowing through their Mohalla as dirty water overflows them due to their blockage, repairing and installation of street lights on the road leading to Bahu Fort temple lifting of stray animals, repairing of lanes & drains.
Mayor in turn directed the officers to look into the demands of locals and resolve their issues on war footing.
Later on, the Mayor laid foundation stone of Sulabh Shochalya near Kalika Colony Bahu Fort which was the major requirement for people of surrounding areas & pilgrims who visit in large numbers at Bahu Fort temple, & Park.
Councillors Sharda Kumari and Sham Lal, Arun Gupta, X-En JMC, Junior Engineer and other field staff of the JMC were present in the JMC team.
