Principals of these Colleges informed the Mayor that his anti-corruption campaign is gaining success as the students of their colleges have already made their minds to vote for such a candidate who will not spent money during campaign and who will be perfectly educated having sound knowhow about administrative matters.
“Motivational documentaries shall be shown in colleges highlighting works done for national interest and for the welfare of the society,” Mayor maintained while interacting with the principals. He said that the students shall be asked to download commitment certificates making the commitment to eradicate corruption from the country.
Sharma further said that during the last Sunday of every month there shall be a walkathon from Panjtirthi to Maharaja Hari Singh Park to aware the people about three pledges-eradicating of political corruption, avoiding caste candidates while voting for a public representative and voting for an educated candidate having sound knowledge of administrative matters.
He said that he needs public support to make Jammu a starting point for revolution against the corruption and a change for the good.
The principals of the colleges assured full support to the Mayor in the noble work initiated by him.
