Mayor visits Ward No 71, listens problems

JAMMU, May 30: Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Chander Mohan Gupta today took stock of various development works in Ward number-71.
During a visit at Sidhra, Rangura, Dawara, Majeen and other localities of the Ward along with the Councillor, Shama Akhter; Anil Gupta, Assistant Executive Engineer of JMC and other staff of engineering wing and other sections of JMC, the Mayor laid foundation stone of Sulabh Sochalaya at Sidhra highway in the Ward as it was a long pending demands of general public and shopkeepers of the area.
The local Councillor as well residents of Sidhra raised the demand Sampooran Bharat Park on the bank of River Tawi on priority basis so that public can take benefit of it.
Later the Mayor appealed to the locals not to throw polythene bags, garbage, filth etc in the public lanes, drains & nallah flowing through their locality and cooperate with the JMC in making Jammu City neat, clean and green.
