MBSCET holds training on employability by experts

JAMMU, Oct 28: Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering & Technology (MBSCET) conducted 100 hours training program on “Finishing School for employability”, organized in collaboration with ICT Academy and Infosys Foundation.
The program comprised of 20 hours Soft Skills Training, conducted by Mohit Panwar, Softskill Trainer from ICT Academy, who focused on key aspects of professional communication, teamwork, and leadership. The training sessions were designed to develop students’ interpersonal competencies, helping them to build confidence and professionalism.
Adil Yousuf, Senior Technical Trainer from ICT Academy delivered 80 hours Technical Training on AI & ML. This segment of program was introduced to students to advanced technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), using the Microsoft Azure Platform. During the training program, students worked on practical projects which included chatbot development, image classification, speech recognition, text detection, and NLP.
The program was conducted under the guidance of Ajaz Yousuf, Relationship Manager from ICT Academy. The event was graced by Dr. Dinesh Gupta (Principal), Dr. Amrik Singh (Vice Principal), Parveen Singh (Dean Academics), Ridhika Sharma (HoD, CSE), Jasmeen Kaur (HoD, IT), H.S. Gill (DSW) as well as other department heads and faculty members.
The program was supported by Saravjeet Kour and Amarjoit Kour, Assistant Professors, CSE who acted as mentor and coordinator.
