MCK employees hold protest

KISHTWAR, Feb 23: All employees and daily wage workers of Municipal Committee, Kishtwar led by Abdul Rashid, president, Municipal Employees and workers Union struck work and started dharma from today in the Minicipal office complex.
The protest was against non-payment of salary/wages to them for the last 4 to 7 months due to which they have unduly been made to suffer suffer starvation conditions. Adbul Majeed Shah, president Low Paid Employees Federation, Kishtwar strongly supported their struggle and urged the higher authorities can concerned to pay salary/wagers on top priority basis in order to relieve them undue severe kinds of miseries and hardships.
Besides Abdul Majid Shah and Abdul Rashid, Bhuri Singh, general secretary, LPEF, Iiyas Najar, Mohd Ibal Kazi, Mohd Nayeem and Bashir Ahmed were also among the speakers.
