JAMMU, Oct 10: An inspection of Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu was conducted today by a team of Director Health Services (DHS) under the supervision of Bhupinder Singh, MD NHM/DHS Jammu, for implementation of Quality Assurance Programme and certification of the facility under NQAS.
The team was apprised about the services/facilities available in the hospital by Dr ADS Manhas, Medical Superintendent of the Hospital and Dr Perupkar Singh, Deputy Medical Superintendent, after which the team had a round of the hospital, especially Labour Room-OT complex, Sick Newborn Care Unit, newly constructed Dialysis unit, District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC), Skill lab, AYUSH Clinic, wards, Laboratory, Radiology unit and OPD.
The team also inspected the site for construction of Effluent Treatment Plant in the facility. During the round, MD NHM/DHS Jammu interacted with the patients and took their feedback. He advised the Medical Superintendant and his team to maintain the good work and provide all the facilities to the patients.
The MD NHM/DHS was accompanied by Dr Chander Prakash, Deputy Director HQ, Dr LD Bhagat, Assistant Director FW, Dr Harjeet Rai, DNO Jammu, Dr Narinder Bhatial, State Nodal Officer, QA, NHM and Dr Meenakshi Verma, Associate Programme Manager, NHM J&K.
