JAMMU, June 24: The Principal Government Medical College Jammu, Dr Zahid Gillani today constituted a five member Medical Board of Doctors to examine accused Mohammed Yasir, son of Kher Din of village Shiva, Doda, who was involved in sacrilegious act at Aap Shambu temple in Roop Nagar on June 14.
The team was constituted by the Principal Medical College on the request of District Magistrate Jammu, Simrandeep Singh.
The members of the Board are Dr Anil Mahajan, Professor & HoD Medicines, Dr B N Bhougal, from Department of Medicine, Dr Shabnam Rivees, Psychologist from Department of Psychiatry, Dr B R Kundal, Neurologist from Department of Neurology and Dr Rakesh Banal, Psychiatrist from Department of Psychiatry.
The Board members will examine Yasir Alfaz tomorrow at 10-30 am sharp in the office of Medical Superintendent, Department of Psychiatry, GMC, Jammu and submit report to the Principal, who, in turn, will furnish the same to the DM.
