RAJOURI, Feb 21: A special medical camp was organised by the District Medical authorities at Topa village of Darhal where over forty cases of Diarrhoea surfaced recently.
On the directions of CMO Rajouri Dr Rajeev Sharma, a team led by Block Medical Officer, Darhal Dr Iqbal Malik organised a camp at Topa village and examined over 250 patients including women and children. They also distributed free medicines among the poor and needy patients and advised the people to consume boiled water. Dr Iqbal also visited local school and Panchayat Ghar and educated the people about water borne diseases and precautions to be taken. The team also distributed chlorine tablets to the people to mix them in water for consumption.
