RAJOURI, June 7: The doctors and Paramedical staff of Community Health Centre, Thanna Mandi staged a strong protest in the hospital complex and demanded strict action against a news portal, which allegedly posted a totally fabricated and false news item in contrary to the facts.
While talking to media the Zonal Medical Officer, Thanna Mandi, Dr Shabab Mirza and Mohd Ashraf Lab Technician have appealed to District Magistrate Rajouri as well as SSP Rajouri for strict legal action against the peole running Axis Point news Portal which was uploading some false news stories.
It is pertinent to mention that Mohd Ashraf Lab, Technician of CHC Thanna Mandi who was on duty at village Kote was attacked by three persons Mohd Javed, Mohd Zabeer and Mohd Akseer- all sons of Abdul Aziz, redident of Ghambhir Gali. The said portal uploaded some old objectionable photographs on social media and connected this incident with some other one for the reason best known to him, thus misleading the masses.
SHO Thanna Mandi Fareed Choudhary immediately swung into action and arrested two accused out of the three and an FIR No. 120/2021 under relevant sections have been registered at Police Station Thanna Mandi.
The Medical Officers and other officials of entire Thanna Mandi Zone have demanded strict action against such elements who have not even spared the health officials. They have demanded the administration to check the registration and credentials of such news portals.
