JAMMU, Nov 22: A thief decamped with a motorcycle of a media person in broad daylight at Gangyal area here today.
Sewa Ram, who works for a local daily, had gone to J&K Bank at Gangyal branch for some work, where a masked man, who is captured in the CCTV footage, decamped with his bike parked outside the Bank.
SHO Gangyal, Inspector Satveer Singh said that police have taken cognisance of the matter and shared the CCTV footage as well as information about the theft with different police stations and units to trace and arrest the thief.
“He (thief) will be behind the bars soon as our police teams are investigating the matter thoroughly,” he assured.
