Medical camp dedicated to eminent environmentalist organised

JAMMU, Dec 9: Gandhi Global Family (GGF) J&K in collaboration with Indian Systems of Medicine, Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh and Green India Foundation today organised COVID-19 medical cum awareness camp at Panjtirthi where AYUSH immunity boosting medicines were provided to Safai Karmacharis and general public.
The camp was dedicated to the living legend of Jammu and an eminent environmentalist Dr. C.M Seth, Former PCCF, J&K.
Visitors in the camp were examined by the expert team of doctors following guidelines issued by the local administration.
Deputy Mayor JMC, Poornima Sharma inaugurated the camp while JMC Councillors, Jagdeesh Sharma and Narotam Sharma apart from Health Officer, Dr. Sanjogita Sharma; Police Officer, Vinod Sharma; S. Hardeep Singh, Sameer Bali, Younis Mattoo, Chairman, Green India Foundation; Lucky Chidha, President Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh; Amar Moman, General Secretary, Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh; Neelam Kumari, Yashpal, Sahul Nair and others were also present on the occasion.
Over 410 visitors were examined by Dr. Sukhpreet Kour and Dr. Shifali Sharma.
Earlier, awareness on COVID-19 was also conducted by the team of ISM Doctors.
Speaking on the occasion GGF J&K, President Padmashree, Dr. S.P Varma expressed gratitude to Dr. Mohan Singh, Director ISM, J&K and Dr. Suresh Sharma – ADMO, Jammu for deputing a dedicated team of doctors and providing free AYUSH medicines for boosting the immunity of Safai Karamcharis.
