SRINAGAR, May 9: The Jammu and Kashmir Postal Services is organizing a free medical camp for the postal employees and postal pensioners here at the General Post Office (GPO) complex on May 12.
In a statement, S. R Jassal, Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Postal Circle Welfare Board said that super specialists in the fields of cardiology, diabetes and gastroenterology will examine the postal employees and the pensioners during the medical camp. He said that it is for the first time that such a camp is being organized in the state.
He said the camp will be inaugurated by Chief Post Master General, Jammu and Kashmir Circle, John Samuel, adding that all the postal employees as well as pensioners will attend the camp along with their families.
